Interns are selected on a competitive basis, depending on the business needs of the Bank.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the AfDB Internship Program 2026, applicants must:

Be nationals of a member country of the African Development Bank.

Be under 30 years old at the start of the internship.

Be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program at a recognized institution, or have graduated within the past year.

Be fluent in English or French (knowledge of both is an advantage).

Be proficient in standard office software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Knowledge of SAP is desirable.

Provide an official letter of enrollment or a degree certificate from their institution.
