3. IsDB Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (MSP)

Established in 1992, this program supports:

• PhD studies (3 years)

• Post-Doctoral Research (6–12 months)

It focuses on 16 applied science and high-technology disciplines critical to the development of IsDB member countries.

4. IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Program

Launched in 2019 with support from the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), this program targets 21 Least Developed IsDB Member Countries.

It provides opportunities for bachelor’s degrees or technical diplomas in:

Eligibility Requirements for IsDB Scholarship Program 2026

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Demonstrate financial need

• Meet the age limits:

  • Undergraduate: Maximum 24 years

  • Master’s: Maximum 30 years

  • PhD: Maximum 35 years

  • Post-Doctorate: Maximum 40 years

• Must not be an IsDB staff member or close relative of IsDB staff

• Completed secondary education (or equivalent) with strong science results

• Provide proof of language proficiency in the study language

• Submit certified English or French translations of documents (if applicable)

• Be medically fit

• Admission to a recognized institution is desirable

• Must reside in their home country

• Must not be benefiting from another scholarship
