The University of Reading, in collaboration with Rotary District 1090 in the Thames Valley, is offering a Rotary Graduate Scholarship for the academic year 2025/26. This scholarship provides an award of $30,000 (approximately £24,150) to support international students pursuing specific one-year full-time master’s courses at the University of Reading, commencing in September/October 2025.
Eligible Master’s Programs:
- MSc Environmental Management (Department of Geography & Environmental Science)
- MSc Climate, Environment and Development (Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture & Economics)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have received an offer to study on one of the eligible courses listed above.
- Applicants’ academic pursuits, career goals, and community involvement should align with Rotary’s focus on protecting the environment.
- Applicants must be citizens of low or middle-income countries outside the UK.
Application Process:
- University Admission: Secure an offer of admission for one of the eligible master’s programs at the University of Reading.
- Scholarship Application: Complete the Rotary Graduate Scholarship application form, detailing how your chosen course aligns with Rotary’s environmental focus.
Important Dates:
- Application Period: Opens on January 1, 2025, and closes at 17:00 on March 7, 2025.
- Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews on either April 5 or April 12, 2025, conducted via Skype or a similar platform.
