The United Nations has announced the 2025 University Corridors for Refugees (UNICORE) Scholarship Program, offering fully funded opportunities for African refugees to pursue master’s degrees in Italy.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the UNICORE Scholarship, applicants must:

Reside in one of the following countries: Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe, and have recognized refugee status in collaboration with UNHCR.

Hold a qualification valid for admission to the chosen Second Cycle Degree Programme.

Have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or equivalent.

Possess a degree obtained between 2020 and the application deadline (some universities may have different requirements; refer to individual university calls).

Meet the specific admission requirements of the selected master’s program.

Have never been enrolled in a degree program at any of the partner universities.

Demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
