The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship is designed to support international students from low-income backgrounds in pursuing full-time undergraduate degrees at University College London (UCL). For the 2025/26 academic year, UCL is offering up to 33 scholarships, distributed as follows:
- 10 scholarships covering full tuition fees, a maintenance allowance, and a fixed allowance for additional costs such as the Immigration Health Surcharge and visa fees.
- 23 scholarships covering full tuition fees only.
- 3 scholarships covering full tuition fees specifically for students from India.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
- Residency: Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.
- Financial Background: Come from a lower-income background, as defined by UCL’s guidelines.
- Application Status: Have submitted an admission application for a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL for the 2025/26 academic year.
Application Process:
To apply for the scholarship:
- Ensure you have submitted an admission application to UCL.
- Log in to UCL’s application portal, Portico.
- Click on the ‘View’ button for your active application.
- Navigate to the ‘Funding’ section in the menu at the top of the page.
- Click on ‘Check and apply’ under ‘Funds Available’ to view eligible scholarships.
- Select the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship and complete the application form.
Deadline:
The application deadline is April 28, 2025.
