The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship is designed to support international students from low-income backgrounds in pursuing full-time undergraduate degrees at University College London (UCL). For the 2025/26 academic year, UCL is offering up to 33 scholarships, distributed as follows:

  • 10 scholarships covering full tuition fees, a maintenance allowance, and a fixed allowance for additional costs such as the Immigration Health Surcharge and visa fees.
  • 23 scholarships covering full tuition fees only.
  • 3 scholarships covering full tuition fees specifically for students from India.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet all the following requirements:

  1. Residency: Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.
  2. Financial Background: Come from a lower-income background, as defined by UCL’s guidelines.
  3. Application Status: Have submitted an admission application for a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL for the 2025/26 academic year.

Application Process:

To apply for the scholarship:

  1. Ensure you have submitted an admission application to UCL.
  2. Log in to UCL’s application portal, Portico.
  3. Click on the ‘View’ button for your active application.
  4. Navigate to the ‘Funding’ section in the menu at the top of the page.
  5. Click on ‘Check and apply’ under ‘Funds Available’ to view eligible scholarships.
  6. Select the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship and complete the application form.

Deadline:

The application deadline is April 28, 2025.
