About the Seplat Energy Applied Technology Training Program

The Seplat Energy Applied Technology Training Program (ATTP) is a City & Guilds-approved foundation-level training program designed to prepare young Nigerians for employment as entry-level technicians in the Oil and Gas industry.

The program has been in existence since 1995, originally run by Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU) and now operated by Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited (SEPNU)—a Joint Venture partner with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).

Training will take place at the SEPNU Technical Training Centre (TTC), Eket, where participants will receive intensive classroom instruction and practical industry exposure.

Eligibility Requirements for Seplat Energy ATTP 2026

To be considered for the Seplat Energy Applied Technology Training Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a Nigerian citizen

• Must possess a National Diploma (ND) in any of the following disciplines:

  • Chemical Engineering Technology

  • Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technology

  • Mechanical Engineering Technology

  • Petroleum Engineering Technology

• Must have graduated with a minimum of Upper Credit, obtained not earlier than 2023

• Applicants with higher academic qualifications will not be considered

• Must have a valid government-issued ID, such as:
