Located in Abuja, Nile University offers high-quality education, modern facilities, and a vibrant campus community. The scholarships cover both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.


✨ About Nile University Scholarships

Nile University provides up to 100% scholarships for outstanding candidates based on academic performance and other special achievements, such as sports.

These scholarships are available across the university’s six academic faculties:

  • Medical and Health Sciences

  • Engineering

  • Natural and Applied Sciences

  • Law

  • Management Sciences

  • Arts and Social Sciences


✅ Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Nile University Scholarships, applicants must:

  • Apply to an undergraduate or postgraduate program at Nile University

  • Have valid O’Level (WAEC/NECO) and UTME results

  • Be a Nile University graduate (for postgraduate applicants)

  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.50 to retain the scholarship

  • Avoid misconduct and abide by all university rules

  • Apply early (first come, first served basis)

📌 Applicants with JAMB score of 320+ and 6 A1s in WAEC are eligible for a 100% scholarship.

Special Scholarships

  • Sports Scholarships: Up to 100% for students with national/professional sports achievements

  • Nile University Graduates:

    • First-class: 50% scholarship (excl. PhD)

    • Other grades: 20% scholarship (excl. PhD)

    • From PGD to MSc, MSc to MPhil, or MPhil to PhD: 10% scholarship

  • SSCE transcript and certificate

  • Official WAEC/NECO results

  • Guarantor’s letter or proof of financial support

  • Medical report & immunization records

  • Recommendation letter from school principal/counselor
