The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a prestigious, fully funded award that supports students pursuing Master’s or professional programs at McGill University. In addition to full tuition, recipients receive generous financial and leadership support to thrive in graduate school and beyond.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the 2025 McCall MacBain Scholarship, you must meet one of the following:

  • Be on track to complete your first bachelor’s degree by August 2026, or

  • Have completed your first bachelor’s degree in 2020 or later, or

  • Have completed your first bachelor’s degree before 2020 but are 30 years old or younger in 2025

📌 Note: You must also meet McGill University’s admission criteria, including academic and language requirements for your chosen graduate program.


📝 Application Process (Step-by-Step)

  1. Apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship between June 1 and August 20, 2025

  2. Separately, apply for admission to a McGill master’s or professional program (application opens in September 2025).

  3. If shortlisted, participate in interviews and assessment rounds.

  • Up to 20 Canadian and 10 international students will be selected as McCall MacBain Scholars.

  • Nearly 100 other applicants will be considered for regional awards and finalist funding.
