The Hasselt University Master Mind Scholarship, sponsored by the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training, offers outstanding international students the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree in Flanders and Brussels, Belgium. This prestigious scholarship includes a grant of €10,000 and a tuition fee waiver per academic year (60 ECTS). The grant is disbursed in installments and is intended to cover accommodation costs, insurance, and a significant portion of living expenses.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic Excellence: A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0.

English Language Proficiency: Demonstrated by one of the following:
- An overall band score of at least 7.0 on the IELTS test.
- A minimum total score of 94 on the TOEFL test.
- A C1 level on the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).
- Online language tests of IELTS and TOEFL are also accepted.

Enrollment Status: Applicants should not be currently enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution, except for international students enrolled in a preparatory program intending to start a master’s program in September.

Prior Education: The previous degree must have been obtained from a higher education institution located outside Flanders.

Scholarship Restrictions: Applicants cannot combine this scholarship with another scholarship from the Flemish government or an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
Application Procedure:

Apply for Admission: Submit a completed application for the relevant master’s program at Hasselt University before the program-specific deadline.

Complete the Scholarship Application: Fill out the Master Mind application form by March 15, 2025.

Submit Required Documents: Upload the following documents in the application form:
- Two recommendation letters from professors of your previous home university or recent employer, written in English. Merge the two letters into one PDF document.
- For applicants to the Master of Management or Master of Transportation Sciences programs, include the admission letter from Hasselt University.
