The African Union (AU) Internship Program offers young Africans the chance to enhance their educational experience and develop professional skills by gaining exposure to the AU’s operations.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for the AU Internship Program, applicants must:

Be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a graduate program.

Be fluent in at least one AU working language (Arabic, English, French, or Portuguese).

Be no older than 32 years at the time of selection.
-
Uphold high moral standards and integrity.
-
Have no serious criminal convictions.

Prior work experience is not required.
Application Process:
To apply for the AU Internship Program:

Visit the AU Careers portal and create a personal account.

Complete your profile on the portal.

Prepare and upload the following documents:

A motivation letter detailing your expectations from the internship.

A valid passport or national identity card.

Certified copies of relevant academic certificates.

Important Notes:

The AU does not cover travel, visa, accommodation, or living expenses for interns.
