Pan African University Scholarship

The Pan African University (PAU), an initiative of the African Union, is currently accepting applications for its fully funded Master’s and Ph.D. scholarship programs for the 2025 academic year. These scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, living stipends, travel expenses, and costs related to research and books.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s Programs:

  • Maximum age of 30 years for male and 35 years for female applicants.
  • Undergraduate degree from a recognized university, with at least a second class upper division or its equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Certified copies of relevant certificates and transcripts (university and high school).
  • Passport or National ID card (personal details page).
  • Clear colored passport-size photograph (2cm x 2cm).
  • Detailed CV.
  • Recommendation letter from one former university lecturer.
  • Names and contact details (email and WhatsApp number) of three reference university lecturers.

• Ph.D. Programs:

  • Maximum age of 35 years for male and 40 years for female applicants.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field from PAU or any internationally recognized university.
  • Certified copies of relevant certificates and transcripts.
  • Passport or National ID card (personal details page).
  • Clear colored passport-size photograph (2cm x 2cm).
  • Detailed CV.
  • Recommendation letters from two professors.
  • A 3 to 4-page research concept note (including tentative title, research questions, objectives, significance of the research, etc.).
  • Names and contact details (email and WhatsApp number) of three reference university lecturers.

Application Process:

2. Click on ‘Register’ and provide a valid username and email.
3. Confirm your registration by clicking on the link sent to your email (check your spam folder if not found).
4. Set a password and log in using your credentials.
5. Complete the application form with all required information.
6. Save your progress and, once finished, click on the ‘FINISH’ button.

If you are unable to complete the application in one session, you can log in later using your email and password to continue.
