With a cash prize of $10,000, this competition recognizes outstanding literary criticism that enhances the understanding and appreciation of Nigerian writing.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open to literary critics worldwide, provided their work focuses on Nigerian literature.
  • Special consideration is given to critiques of works by emerging Nigerian writers.
  • Submitted works must not have been published before 2021.
