The Hyundai Motor Group, in collaboration with SOAS University of London, is offering five fully funded scholarships for the 2025/26 academic year, aimed at nurturing talent from Africa.
Scholarship Details:

Number of Scholarships: Five total—four for master’s degree programs and one for doctoral research.

Coverage:

Master’s Scholarships: Valued at £27,730, covering full tuition fees. If tuition is less than this amount, the remainder will be provided as a stipend.

PhD Scholarship: Covers tuition fees for three years of full-time study and the writing-up fee in the fourth year. An annual stipend of £22,780 will be provided, paid in termly installments.

Additional Benefits: Recipients will be invited to participate in various networking events and seminars hosted by Hyundai Motor Group during and after their studies, fostering long-term collaboration and professional development.
Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Applicants must be nationals of an African country and residents of Africa.

Academic Qualifications:

Master’s Applicants: Should possess or expect to be awarded an international equivalent to a first-class honors degree from a UK university. Those with a 2:1 degree may also apply but will not be given preference.

PhD Applicants: Must have or expect to obtain an international equivalent to a master’s degree with distinction from a UK university. Applicants with a merit may apply but will not be given preference.

Admission Status: Candidates must have applied to SOAS for a relevant program starting in the 2025/26 academic year. An offer of admission by the scholarship deadline is not required, but applicants must meet the English language requirements of their offer.

Program Application: Apply for a full-time master’s or research degree program at SOAS University of London.

Scholarship Application: Complete the online scholarship application form by 12:00 pm (midday) UK local time on April 25, 2025.
The selection process is expected to conclude by June 2025. Successful candidates will be contacted first, followed by notifications to unsuccessful applicants.
