📌 Overview

The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board (DSBSB) has officially opened applications for the 2025 Delta State Scholarship and Bursary Scheme. This initiative is aimed at providing financial support to eligible undergraduates of Delta State origin who are studying in government-approved tertiary institutions.

🎯 Objectives

The bursary and scholarship scheme is designed to:

• Support academic pursuits of Delta State indigenes

• Reduce the financial burden of tertiary education

• Encourage academic excellence

• Build a more educated and skilled Delta workforce

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a bonafide indigene of Delta State

• Possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN)

• Be enrolled as a full-time student in a government-approved public or private tertiary institution

• NOT be a postgraduate (PGD, Master’s, or PhD) student

• Be in 200 level or above (for universities), ND II / HND, or NCE II – III

• Have a minimum CGPA of 2.20

• Own a personal account in a CBN-approved commercial bank

🎁 Scholarship & Bursary Benefits

• Scholarship Award: Up to ₦100,000 for selected high-performing applicants

• Bursary Award: ₦10,000 to all eligible beneficiaries
