The Heirs Oil and Gas University Scholarship, also known as the Heirs of Tomorrow Scholarship Scheme (HOTSS), is a life-changing educational support initiative designed to empower academically talented yet underprivileged students from the OML 17 host communities in Nigeria.
This scholarship, sponsored by Heirs Energies and its Host Community Development Trust (HCDT), provides eligible students with ₦200,000 annually to support their undergraduate education in any accredited Nigerian federal or state university.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Heirs of Tomorrow University Scholarship, applicants must:

Be Nigerian citizens and indigenes of the OML 17 Host Communities.

Be currently enrolled in a federal or state-owned Nigerian university (full-time undergraduate).

Have obtained at least five (5) O-Level credits in one sitting, including Mathematics and English (WASSCE, NECO, or SSCE).

Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale (or 2.5 on a 4.0 scale) throughout the scholarship duration.

Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant.

Provide a valid identification letter from their host community.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates will receive an annual award of ₦200,000 to cover educational expenses until graduation, provided they maintain the required academic performance.
