The University of Pavia, in collaboration with EDiSU (Institute of the Right to University Studies), offers the CICOPS Scholarships to support short-term research collaborations for scholars from developing countries. The 2025 CICOPS Scholarship covers travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, and a weekly stipend for a stay of 4 to 12 weeks in Pavia, Italy.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the CICOPS Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a citizen of a developing country

Have at least 2 years of teaching experience or professional activity in international organizations or institutions

Be a junior or senior member of a university, major research center, or institution with an interest in development studies

Not be currently enrolled in a doctoral or postgraduate course at an Italian university

Secure an invitation letter from a professor or researcher at the University of Pavia before applying
Duration of Stay:
The research stay in Pavia must last between 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the agreement with the host professor.
