Government of Estonia Scholarship

​The Government of Estonia offers scholarships to support international students pursuing degree or exchange studies in Estonia. Funded by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research and the Education and Youth Board, these scholarships provide financial assistance, including a living stipend and, in some cases, coverage of tuition fees.​

Eligibility Criteria:

Application Process:

1. Admission:

   • Apply and secure admission to an Estonian higher education institution. A confirmation of admission is mandatory for the scholarship application.​

2. Document Preparation:

   • Complete the application form available on the Education and Youth Board’s website.​

   • Write a motivation letter detailing your academic interests and reasons for choosing Estonia.​

   • Provide valid identification (passport or ID).​

   • Obtain an admission confirmation from the Estonian institution.​

   • If documents are not in Estonian or English, include certified translations.​

3. Submission:

   • Email the completed application form and all required documents to “rvo.dokumendid@harno.ee” before the deadline. Ensure all documents are attached to the email; scanned copies are acceptable for documents signed on paper. ​

Important Notes:

• Applications lacking a confirmation letter of admission by the deadline will not be processed.​

• The scholarship is disbursed through the host Estonian institution, which facilitates the payment to recipients.​
