The NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture Tertiary Scholarship Scheme for the 2025/2026 academic session is now accepting applications from qualified Nigerian undergraduates. This scholarship aims to support students in Nigerian tertiary institutions with financial assistance throughout their studies.

Scholarship Categories:

  1. Host/Transit Communities Merit Award: For applicants strictly from NAOC Host/Transit Communities.

  2. National Merit Award: For applicants from non-host/transit communities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a registered full-time undergraduate in a Nigerian tertiary institution.

  • Must be a certified 100-level student at the time of application (admitted in the 2024/2025 academic session).

  • Must not be a current beneficiary of similar awards from other companies or agencies.

  • Dependents of NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA are not eligible to apply.

Additional Notes:

  • Only indigenes of NAOC Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States should apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.

  • Only applicants studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, and Agricultural Sciences are eligible for the National Merit Award.

Required Documents:

  • Recent passport photograph with a white background (not older than 6 months).

  • School ID card.

  • O’level certificate.

  • Admission letter.

  • Birth certificate.

  • Proof of Local Government Area of Origin.

  • Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (for Host Communities Merit Award applicants).

  • Letter from CDC Chairman (for Host Communities Merit Award applicants).

  • JAMB result.

Application Process:

  1. Visit the official scholarship application portal.

  2. Click on “Apply Now” and register an account.

  3. Activate your account via the confirmation email sent.

  4. Log in and complete the application form by providing personal information, educational details, and uploading the required documents.

  5. Ensure all documents are clear and appropriately named to avoid mix-ups.

  6. Submit your application.

  7. Download your profile and have your Head of Department sign the document.

  8. Upload the signed profile for verification.

Important Dates:

  • Application Deadline: April 30, 2025.

Additional Information:

  • The aptitude test date and venue will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.

  • Applicants will bear any transportation costs to and from the test centers.

  • Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.

  • Obtaining a National Identification Number (NIN) is not mandatory for the application but can be included if available.
