About the Einstein Fellowship Program
The Einstein Fellowship was previously awarded by the Einstein Forum and the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius (2007 – 2009). Since 2010, it has been jointly awarded by the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation.
The primary goal of the program is to support scholars who, in addition to excelling in their field of expertise, are open to interdisciplinary approaches. The fellowship is not intended for applicants who wish to complete an academic study they have already begun but rather for those who want to explore new and unique ideas.
